Meet Eli
I’ve spent my career on one problem: helping conservative, hard-working savers turn what they’ve built into a retirement they don’t have to worry about — and I’ve done it as a fiduciary, bound by law to put your interests ahead of my own.

Since 1999
I earned my B.A. from Tarleton State University in 1996 and entered the insurance industry in 1999, specializing early on in advanced estate-planning strategies for high-net-worth families — work that pulled me deep into the study of market risk and the danger every retiree eventually faces: outliving your money.
In 2006 I became a fiduciary adviser, earning my Series 65 license and founding Asset Lift Wealth Management. Since then I’ve guided clients through two of the most severe bear markets in modern history — the dot-com collapse and 2008 — each one cutting the market by more than half. Those years shaped how I manage risk to this day: defense first.
Today I bring that same defense-first discipline to a specialized practice: retirement income planning, risk-managed investment management, Social Security strategy, tax-smart withdrawals, and legacy planning — coordinated as one plan, not a stack of separate products.
I’m a devoted husband and a proud father of three. And I’m a multiple-time recipient of the Five Star Wealth Manager award.†
Credentials
Legally and ethically bound to put your interests ahead of my own on every advisory recommendation. On insurance and annuity recommendations, Texas law requires that same best-interest standard — and I hold myself to it as a matter of practice either way.
Insurance and annuity producer since 1999; investment adviser since 2006 (Series 65). One continuous career, not a second act.
Registered to serve clients across all 50 states — the same face-to-face conversation, from wherever you’re most comfortable.
Recognized by Five Star Professional’s independent research process across multiple years.†
† Five Star Wealth Manager award methodology: wealth managers are evaluated against 10 objective eligibility and evaluation criteria, including a self-completed questionnaire, client retention and satisfaction, and a review of regulatory and complaint history; no fee is required to be considered for or to receive the award. Award criteria and market results vary by year; historically, fewer than 20% of candidates in a given market are named Five Star Wealth Managers in any one year. This award is not indicative of Eli’s future performance and is not representative of any one client’s experience. Source: Five Star Professional.
Who we serve
Most of the families I work with have done everything right — saved consistently, avoided debt, stayed the course through hard markets. What they’re looking for isn’t a bigger return. It’s a straight answer: how much can I actually spend, for the rest of my life, without running out?
I work with people nearing or already in retirement who want one person — not a rotating cast of specialists — who understands their investments, their income, their taxes, and their legacy as one connected picture.
Why we’re different
One person, the whole picture. Investment management, structured income, Social Security, taxes, and legacy — coordinated by the same person who built your plan, not handed between departments.
Defense-first, from experience. Having navigated clients through two of the worst bear markets in a century, protecting what you’ve built comes before chasing what you might gain.
Results in advance. Before you change a thing, you see how your plan holds up against a long life, bad markets, and rising costs — not after you’ve committed.
